Yesterday I was quite busy, and sadly didn't have time to write anything! :( What was I busy with? Well let me tell you! I got picked up at around 1:30 by the Funks, who were bringing both the Edwards girls, Mara Omar, and myself (plus Lydia and Esther of course!) to a book study that Karen Novak is doing on Preparing to be a Help Meet. Last week we were to read about the three types of men. We met and discussed the chapters, and what we pondered over about the chapters in the past week. All this happened while we munched on some delightful snicker doodles! Esther and Celia had both agreed to bring snacks, but when they arrived they found that they had both made the same thing!! :)
After our book study we walked to the Funks to practice the 'Little Man' skit that we are doing for Serene and Celia's church. How they talked me into it, I don't know! I will be so glad when its over!! Its pretty embarrassing! Especially when you practice it outside, and two guys walk by looking at you like you're crazy!
Celia and I are the main characters who do the dirty work. We are kind of like little people, and Serene and Lydia are our hands. Celia and I talk, while our "hands" try to drown us, choke us with cereal, poison us with lipstick, shove toothbrushes down our throats, mangle our hair, and smear toothpaste all over our shoes! Not on purpose of course, but thats the way it usually turns out. I hope we will actually be funny, and not just embarrass ourselves!! (in other words, are you sure we want to do this Serene?? ;)
After we finished practicing, we went with Jenny as she dropped off Serene, Celia, and Sonya. Lydia, Esther and I went on a nice longish walk when we got back, until Mom came around eight and brought me home.

(#1) On My Trip To Wyoming…
In June when the Funks and I went to Wyoming we saw Old Faithful! We also saw other small geysers, of which we all agreed smelled like... boiled eggs?? :) And I quote from Esther… "Mmmm, now I'm hungry for boiled eggs!"
The geysers were a pretty common sight, so after awhile the "Oh look! A bubbling geyser!" comment wasn't said much.
On one of the Old Faithful boardwalks we went on, we actually got sprayed by the geyser below! Twas quite an experience! Come to think of it… the whole trip was quite the experience! ;)

My New Fuzzy Friend
A few days later when this one appeared we put it in the kitty carrier and trapped it in the sugar house so it would be safe. That's where we will keep it every night until it gets bigger and stronger. We don't want to lose this one!!
Usually we want to get rid of strays, if possible, but now that we have only one house cat, and one out door cat, (come to think of it... I haven't seen Boxelder Bug around lately!) We would like to have a couple of new, healthy cats again.
This kitty LOVES to be petted! It just leans into your hand as you pet it, and simply can't get enough. Hopefully we can continue to keep it safe and healthy!

The Tina Tattlers First Tattle
Last night I went with Ruth to play volleyball with her friends at Robins Park. Of course I just watched! If you have ever played volleyball with me before you will know why. :) Of course there were a lot of people trying to convince me to play, but I held my ground!
It was a very nice group to be around. Everyone was modest and totally laid back. I have to admit I came close to joining in! It was a very enjoyable evening.
Just this morning I got roused out of bed at 9:00 (late night) so I could go mow the church lawn with Poppy. I am always ready to chauffeur anyone anywhere now that I have my permit, so I was thrilled at the idea of driving us to the church. But much to my dismay we needed to take the Big Blue Van, and to my shock dad said I could still drive there!
If you have ever seen this van, you know its a beast. I must admit it was fun to watch the faces of people we would pass by, looking up in the face of a scrawny teenager roaring down the road in a big honken blue van! :) Look out world!

Hello Everybody!
Hello! I've finally got this blog up and running! I have been big into blog reading for a few months now, and now I have my own. I hope to give ya a dose of my every day life, and maybe even say something simply profound every now and then!
